Psoriasis  P S O R I K U M ®

The main advantage of Psorikum is a non-hormonal origin of the active substances as well as the absence of analogous product, allowing Kartalin to take a prominent standing on markets of the Russian Federation and also in neighboring countries.
Currently, the ointments on solidol basis are beeing actively used. Pure solidol satisfy all the demands that are placed on lipid basis, and it has an independent therapeutic effect and are not addictive.
Effectiveness of ointment depends on its composition, ie. on the set of active substances, although the base itself is of considerable importance too (solidol - lipid or synthetic, pure, etc.). Solidol results from mineral oil, by concanrating it with calcium salts of fatty acids. It contains 10-19% of soap, 0.4% of alkalis, 3% of water.
Lipid solidol and synthetic solidol (trademark Solidol-S) are beeing used. For some ointments, also solidol emulsion is in use, and it is often the main active substance in the same time. Such solidol is concentrated mixture of water and fat from mineral oils. At the long-term use, the medical solidol (purged from blemishes) has no side effects.
